Whittenburg and Gary Ellebracht of Flying Lion Farm September 25th, 2008 - Juliana Whittenburg and Gary Ellebracht of Flying Lion Farm in Zephyrhills, Florida did very well in the Breeders Group at Devon placing 10th out of a large and prestigious group of breeders.
They submitted their newly registered Weser-Ems Colt, Le Andros (Le Santo); and the Oldenburg Filly, Isabella (Le Santo), owned by Ignacio Ferras III. Le Andros was #1 Weser-Ems Pony or Small German Riding Horse Weanling Colt for 2008 in the Dressage Sport Horse Breeding Division with USDF Isabella ended up #1 German Oldenburg Verband weanling filly in the country for USDF All Breeds Awards for 2008 in the Dressage Sport Horse Breeding Division In addition to these two and the 2 year old Holsteiner Filly, Wind Song (Le Santo), owned by Phoebe Devoe-Moore, together placed 12th in the Get-of-Sire Class. Juliana and Gary are also the owners of the USEF 2007 Hunter Breeding Yearling of the Year, Zeja Vu (Ironman), bred by Lisa Dworkin. Flying Lion Farm is proud to announce their recent acquisition of the Multi-National Champion Trakehner mare, Zejaluna. Zejaluna is the dam of HOTY Zeja Vu, Zahnya and Zalani, all of which have been National Champions since their Weanling year with USEF, USDF and their breed registries.
Zejaluna's accomplishments include ATA Broodmare Horse of the Year, USDF Region 3 Cosequin Finals Reserve Champion, Dressage At Devon winner of the Joan T. Peyton Memorial Trophy and dozens more.
