Ken Berkley & Carlotta Win Wellington $25,000 Spring 5 Grand Prix

WELLINGTON, FL, April 20--

Ken Berkley and Carlotta won the Equestrian Sport Productions' $25,000 Spring 5 Grand Prix at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center Sunday.

The win by Berkley of Flemington, N.J. and the Rivers Edge-owned Carlotta came just two days after finishing second in the $10,000 Wellington Golf Cars Welcome Stake on Friday.

Placing second in the 25-horse field was Margie Engle of Wellington on Hidden Creek's Coraya Z with Christine McCrea of Suffield, Conn. on Sweetheart third, Candice King of Wellington on Skara Glen's Davos fourth and Charlie Jayne of Elgin, Ill. on Gangsta fifth and filling sixth place with Cashmere.
