Wellington, April 9, 2006

Angela Moore and Land Baron 4 won Palm Beach Toyota's $25,000 Grand Prix at Littlewood on April 9, 2006. Angela Moore was the last to go in the jump off; she and Land Baron 4 were the fastest, 37.675 seconds, and double clear. Frankie Chesler-Ortiz and Ranville came in second with a time of 43.288 seconds and no faults. Bert Mutch and All Star were fast in the jump off with 38.326, but had a rail and ended up third. Pablo Gamboa with Findus had one rail and was fourth.

The awards were presented by actor George Hamilton, recently of "Dancing with the Stars", and Danny Damos of Palm Beach Toyota.

Angela Moore said of her 15 year old Holsteiner: "He is fabulous! We just bought him in November. I wanted to go fast in the jump off. I trusted him. I let him work things out and knew he would fight for it."

The course designer was Jeff Smiley. He said, "the most technical part of the course was the triple to the skinny. The height is fine for this caliber of horses. The course is more technical than requiring scope. The time allowed is fair but snug."
